1. Who We Are
TickerMind ("we", "our", "us") operates the tickermind.ai website and related services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data.
2. Data We Collect
We collect information you provide when registering (name, email address), data about your portfolio holdings (ticker symbols), notification preferences, and usage data collected via Google Analytics (page views, session duration, browser type). We do not collect financial account numbers, passwords beyond your TickerMind account, or payment card details — payments are processed directly by Stripe.
3. How We Use Your Data
We use your data to: deliver portfolio news alerts via your chosen channels; provide AI-powered portfolio chat; manage your subscription; improve the Service through aggregated analytics; and communicate important service updates.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
For users in the EEA and Turkey, we process your data on the following legal bases: (a) contract performance — to deliver the Service you signed up for; (b) legitimate interests — to improve and secure the Service; (c) consent — for analytics cookies (which you can withdraw at any time).
5. Cookies and Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors interact with the site. Analytics cookies are only set after you give consent via our cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing cookies and declining on the banner. Essential cookies (session, CSRF) are always used and do not require consent.
6. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We share data with: Stripe (payment processing); Google (analytics, if you consent); Microsoft Azure (hosting and data storage); and Telegram/WhatsApp (notification delivery, only if you configure those channels). All processors are under appropriate data processing agreements.
7. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active, plus a 30-day grace period after deletion. Analytics data is retained per Google's standard policy (26 months). Notification logs are retained for 90 days.
8. Your Rights
You have the right to: access, correct, or delete your personal data; restrict or object to processing; data portability; and withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@tickermind.ai. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
9. Data Security
We store all data on Microsoft Azure infrastructure in the West Europe region. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest. Access is controlled via managed identities and role-based access control.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not directed at anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
